When I load my login page with Edge, the password field is disabled. When inspect the HTML I see the input element has the disabled property. I can edit it to remove that property and login. This does not happen in private mode, and it does not happen with Chrome. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Solution: disable the Edge extension Dark Mode – Dark Reader for Сhrome. It worked in private mode because I didn’t enable that extension for private mode.

It worked fine on Edge on my side even with this extension installed. But glad to know you found the solution. Thanks for using LoginPress! ??

Thank you so much! ?? I’ve been trying to find a solution for the greyed out part of the password in WordPress login for an hour. And yes, I just disabled (well i removed it out of frustration) the Dark Mode extension, and it did open! I was finally be able to login. I almost messed up the wp-login.php file for this one. Thank you so much again!
