Password complexity not enforced in Theme's Edit Profile >Change Password

    I’m using a theme with an Edit Profile > Change Password front page section for logged in users and it doesn’t pickup the password complexity rules I’ve set through Login Security Solution. The plugin seems to be working correctly in all other ways, however this is the only way that users will change their password – through their front end profile.

    I apologise if there’s something I’ve missed reading that I’m supposed to set in the theme’s functions somewhere to hook this in, but if you could please point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated

    The password hint text is handled by the “password_hint” filter.

    The password enforcement is handled by the “user_profile_update_errors” action.

    Make sure your theme honors those.
