Password change

    Sure I did a search and couldn’t follow most of the complex jargon in the answers – advanced users I’m sure.

    Is there a way to change my password to one I choose?
    That is, the password I use to log onto this forum?
    Couldn’t find the option anywhere. Thanks

  • Hello Alan7s,
    When in the dashboard – click on USERS and scroll down (the place to change your password isn’t immediately visible). There is a place to change your password.

    if you username is set to ADMIN – rather than changing your password for this user – click ADD NEW and set up a personal USER NAME and your new desired password.

    Then go back after saving to delete the original ADMIN USER. (This helps protect you a bit from having your site hacked.)

    Yes, log in and your name should be in the upper right part of the page. You should be able to edit your profile there which includes changing the password.
