• Hi,

I have recently had several users forget their password and tried resetting it. when they click the reset button it sends and an email and says click the link to confirm and reset it. However the link is not displayed and there is nothing to click so its just an email. This was also the case when I had it set up to confirm signs ups by email and the link wasn’t in the confirmation email.

I have also tried manually resetting users passwords only to be giving a huge password full of different characters and this also doesn’t seem to let them log in? Is there anything to fix this or something I am missing? as the only way to fix this at the moment is to delete their account and get them to re-sign up.

    Thanks for the help

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @deeekie,

Do you use custom email templates?
Please go to the Ultimate member -> Settings -> emails section and check your password reset email, make sure that it has {password_reset_link} placeholder.
You can also do a quick conflict test so we can rule out conflicts with other plugins or your theme and see if it helps. Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    Regards.

Hi, sorry for the late response but only just seen a reply. To fix it I had to check the “use HTML” for emails box. This was making it only display the text rather than a link.

    Thanks
