pass URL variable in link

  • I feel like this has to be there but i cant seem to find it in the documentation.
    I would like to create a button within each loop as such

    [loop type=post]
<a href="https://www.foobar.com?variable=[field value]"> button text </a>
[/loop]

    The result obviously does not work.
    Clearly you have most link issues resolved by using the [link] shortcode, but it does not appear to offer this feature, either that or I am just blind haha. would be REALLY nice to have this option.

    oh nice! I figured out if I use ‘these’ instead of “these” it works perfectly. nevermind!

    @colin I’m sitting with the exact same problem. I see that you figured it out, but the solution that you added still has me puzzled. Can you elaborate?
