Pass Javascript variable to Dynamic Hidden Field

Hi,

Thanks for a great plugin! Unfortunately I can’t get it to work for my use case. I have set up a referral system and want to pass the referral code (a javascript variable) into a dynamic hidden field on my contact form. The javascript variable is called ‘mbsy_short_code’.

The following script loads the referral shortcode when someone visits my site through a referral link. <script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://mbsy.co/embed/v2/getcookie/vinylrevolution”></script&gt;. I have put the javascript variable into the dynamic field like this:

[dynamichidden dynamic-referral “CF7_GET key=’mbsy_short_code'”]

I’ve tested it extensively and unfortunately it is not passing the code onto my contact form output. Is this extension capable of grabbing javascript variables like this?
