Pass in MAC address?
-
Hi,
We are running Slimstat on an HTML-only intranet behind a captive portal. The WordPress instance & Slimstat server is out on the Internet. It works OK but it doesn’t track the correct IP (all IPs show the router address) and obviously the MAC address isn’t recorded anywhere.
We would like to record the “real” (192.168..) local IP, and the MAC address, both of which are accessible to us in the HTML of the pages we are tracking.
I am wondering if we can somehow pass this data into Slimstat for it to be recorded. Can we maybe add a variable, or a querystring parameter, onto the AJAX URL?
Thanks
