Party like it’s 1999?

  • Hello,
    I am an amateur blogger and I set up my blog and, though it’s running (currently set in maintenance mode), I’m having trouble with a php command that returns July 1, 1999. The command is <?php the_time('Y'); ?> and for some reason the date is wrong, even though I confirmed that in my general settings section the “local time” was correct. The time zone is correct too. Any suggestions?
