• In the readme documentation, it mentions that we get free access to some extras if we’re hosting with one of the “partners”. However, all of the links to the partners page(s) seem to be broken at this point.

As far as I can tell, WPEngine is one of the partners for the Sidekick plugin, but I’m not sure how to go about activating the partner extras. I installed Sidekick on one of my WPEngine-hosted sites, but it’s telling me I have the free version, and that I need to upgrade to a paid account in order to see the rest that the plugin has to offer.

Is there anything special I need to do in order to make this work with WPEngine, or am I going about this all wrong? Thanks.

    Hi Curtiss,

Apologies for the confusion, our docs in this area are something we need update. Can you point out where you’re seeing the broken links?

For clarity, WP Engine provides SIDEKICK ONLY on their dashboard (my.wpengine.com) and not through WordPress. So installing SIDEKICK for WordPress into a WPE install will only give you the free version.

If you install a WordPress site through Media Temple Managed WordPress or Go Daddy Pro, you will receive a full version of SIDEKICK at no charge.

Again, my apologies for the confusion.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to post them here or email me directly at [email protected].

    Thank you for using SIDEKICK!

    Ben
