I’m having parts of the backend in english and I can’t translate them. I already change the language of wordpress to english and back to spanish. Reinstalled woocommerce. Uploaded a PO file from your web. Installed loco. But still some parts of woocommerce are in english, and this affect to the emails, because some parts are in english too.

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that there are some parts on your site that are still not yet translated in Spanish, even after uploading the PO file and using Loco Translate, correct?

WooCommerce is already translated into a few languages and does come translation-ready out of the box. All that’s needed is a translation file for your language.

There are several methods to create a translation, most of which are outlined in the WordPress Codex. You can learn more about Translating WooCommerce here.

To better picture what text strings you are referring to here, can you please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?

Hello @xoxgregxox,

Depending on the version of Spanish you’re using, the strings might not be translated by default. For example, the translation process for Spanish (Ecuador) is 81%, meanwhile, Spanish Span is 100%.

I understand you already tried manually translating them via Loco Translate, can you please double-check if you’re actually translating the correct version of Spanish your site is using?

But the main problems is the mails are arriving in both langages:

Do you mean that two emails are being sent, or does the same email contain both English and Spanish?

If it’s the latter, please try disabling this plugin Force Update Translations.

I alway use Spain Spanish, because it’s easier to find translations. So it’s not this.

I already disable the plugin you told me to, but still have the same problems, parts of woocommerce are in english, and parts in spanish.

Hello @xoxgregxox,

Sorry, to hear disabling the plugin didn’t help. I tried searching for some of the strings you attached and most of them seem translated in the stable release.

I suggest trying to upload the Spanish .Po file yourself to “Loco Translate”, just in case there are any synchronization or update issues.

If that doesn’t help, then please try disabling all plugins except WooCommerce while activating the default Storefront theme to make sure there are no plugin/theme conflicts involved.
