Partially locked content

  • Hi looks like a cool plugin.

    I have a portion of blog content locked with a social share plugin.

    I suppose from your FAQ that I may use a short code to establish the time to read only for the locked content. Correct?

    Is it possible to have time to read for the unlocked and locked content separately?

    And can I only use it when I want to instead of setting it up for all posts? I assume yes.

    Reading Time WP will calculate the reading time based on the word count for the full content of the post. You could use the rtwp_filter_wordcount filter to edit the word count and remove the number of words outside the locked content, but this would require custom coding.
