• Hi

On a friends website i installed the new shopsoftware.

Unfortunately, there are some words which are still English rather than German.
    Where to edit this?

I just tried it with “Search&replace”, but still no changes…

    Thank you and regards

    Dani

  • Hi Dani

If you want to edit the language translations in Jigoshop eCommerce, I’d suggest going to your wp-content/plugins/jigoshop-ecommerce/languages/ and there find the appropriate language file (.po) you would like to edit – you should do this using the appropriate software (POEdit for example).

Of course, if you would like to, you can also do this here, and the changes will be available in the next release for all Jigoshop eCommerce users ??

I have the same Problem, i also so try to edit the .po file and in my .po its all German ….(with Poedit) also try it with Loco Translate and some more stuff…but there are some words/buttons that are still in english like the Proceed to Checkout button or the return to shop button…and some more. Any Advise for me ?

    Hi
Does the “Proceed to Checkout” string in the .po file match the one on the buton? If so, we might’ve found the culprit.
