Partial upload from Local PC to web server?

  • When I change or add to my local WordPress site, can I upload some limited portion to the server? E.G, what stuff is static, like the theme, and where is the stuff that changes as you add pages? Thanks.

  • All information is in the database, when you add pages WordPress saves text content in database, but all resources like images, docs, etc. are uploaded in wp-content/uploads folder.
