Partial Install?

  • I installed Understrap from WP site.

    I see this warning message:

    “IMPORTANT: All developer dependencies are not bundled with this install file. Just download the .zip, extract it and run “npm install” and “gulp copy-assets” inside the extracted /understrap folder.”

    Where is the zip file located? Thanks.

  • Thats the installation file of the theme. If you already installed it the extracted theme folder can be found under /wp-content/themes/understrap

    To develope your theme it makes more sense to download the install file to your local HDD, extract it, develope your theme and upload the changed files after it.
