Part of post concent disappears after publishing ou saving draft

  • Hi,

    I’m using Longform Pro theme with Aesop Story Engine plugin. I’m working on a post with shortcodes (ultil now i’m using 5/6 Aesop Quotes). Sometimes when i publish or save a draft part of my shortcodes disappears, and then i have to find a revision to recover the content. I’ve already tried to disable all plugins (i’m just using aesop which has compability with my theme). How can I fix it?

  • Are the shortcodes actually disappearing from the content? i.e. if you create a page, add the shortcode, save it and then open the page for editing again – the shortcode has disappeared?

    Or, is it just the content that should be created by the plugin for the shortcode not showing up? and the shortcode is in fact not disappearing from the post content?

    It’s the shortcode that disappears.

    Have you reached out to the plugin developers for their support? The changelog reports several fixes related to shortcodes.
