I have the following problem: After the update I get this error message in the PDF Viewer
‘ PDF.js version 2.3.200 (build: 4ae3f9fc)
Message: Missing PDF “https:// *** .de/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/***.pdf”.’.

Here a part of the URL is removed, actually the URL should be https:// *** .de/***/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/***.pdf.
If I print the variable outside the PDF Viewer, it is printed correctly.
I have tried to duplicate the /***/ part that is missing and now the PDF is displayed. Why is this part removed from the URL and how can I prevent this?

We removed the domain from the PDF URL to fix issues with Microsoft Defender.

It should have just updated your URL to be relative and not broken anything.

Do you have a URL I could see the issue at? It could be how you have your site setup that is causing the issue.

I have a similar problem. My folder is “***.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/***.pdf”. But I have error “***.com/wp-content/uploads/***.pdf”. The directory “blog” is missing automatically. You can see in: https://torrequebradilla.com/blog/?p=12777

@fcoberrio What’s the site URL set to in WordPress? Is it ***.com/ or ***.com/blog/
