    Hi Folks,
I am having issues with one of the modules: /sitemap-posttype-post.xml
All the others are working well.
The link now returns a “HTTP ERROR 500,” on most browsers.
The full error message on Chrome is:
‘XML Parsing Error: no root element found
    Location: https://www.hiskingdomprophecy.com/sitemap-posttype-post.xml
    Line Number 1, Column 1:’
I don’t know how long this issue has been around but I have been plagued with line 1972 errors since the same time as your latest version update – about 4 days.
I have reinstalled the pluging but the error is still there and results in a wp-db.php line 1972 system error.
    A fix is appreciated.
    Regards and thanks,
    Angus

  • Hi, please try setting the option “Split by” to “Year” which will switch the index to reference individual yearly maps like https://www.hiskingdomprophecy.com/sitemap-posttype-post.2019.xml

    @ravanh
    Thank you kind Sir!
That solves the line 1972 issue for the moment.
A few years ago, the reason that I changed from a Year split to None, was that Bing and Google were reporting mass header errors. I don’t recall the details..
Anyway, thanks again for the fix in the meantime. If the headers issue arises again, I’ll come back to you… ??
    Regards and thanks,
    Angus
