So I was trying to tweak the functions.php and updated the file but when the page reloaded I got:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘function’ (T_FUNCTION), expecting ‘)’ in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\pixova-lite\functions.php on line 122

So then I deleted the changes I made to put everything back to normal but it still says the error is there.

I compared my functions.php line 122 to the one I found online and they are the same so I don’t understand why the whole site crashed. If I log out right now I will lose everything.

I have no idea what to do.

  • Hi NewebieLearn,

I’m afraid this is a bit out of the scope of his support forum. Since you were trying to modify the functions.php file on your own and it’s not a problem caused by our theme upon initial installation.

P.S: Look at line 122, it looks like you’re missing a closing parenthesis.

Oh ok I see the error now. Thank you

Glad you’ve managed to fix it.
