    Hi all,

    I’m trying to install this plugin, but I have not been able to install it successfully.

    When I try, I get this:

    “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home8/sitename*/public_html/wp-content/plugins/category-posts/cat-posts.php on line 11

    I omitted my actual site name folder directory here for security (sitename*). You can visit my website at weathertogether.us

    For me a file is broken down or you copied the files and now the files has the wrong permissions.

    Can you download the widget with WordPress under Plugins > Add New > type in the “Search Plugin” text box: Category Post Widget > Install Now > activate

    If it doesn’t help please tell us which WordPress version do you use.

    I have this same problem. Here is the full error I’m seeing:

    At the moment we can’t reproduce the bug. So please help us to find it.

    Where do you download the widget: On www.remarpro.com as file, in our WordPress installation or on GitHub?

    Do you make a update from a older version?

    You have do this:
    Can you download the widget with WordPress under Plugins > Add New > type in the “Search Plugin” text box: Category Post Widget > Install Now > activate

    Everything is good now. I noticed in one of your other comments on another thread that php version 5.2 is no longer supported by you, so I had bluehost upgrade me to 5.4. It works now. Thanks!

    Is there any version that support PHP 5.2.17?
    My service provider does not support to upgrade PHP.

    The version: 4.1.5 don’t need PHP +5.3.

    P.S.: Old PHP versions are insecure in ourmindes. What your service provider does here is not the right way. You can teach us a better one.
