Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM

  • Hello – I upgraded my wordpress and now have a Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM. I found the line of code which is
    $response = $class::$method( $args );

    what do I do to fix this?
