Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR

  • Hi,

    When I try to connect the our website as an admin this message appear:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/davibe/public_html/wp-login.php on line 48

    Now the problem is that any modification has been made on the website.

    Can someone help?

  • Have you been editing the core wp-login.php file? You should never edit WordPress core files. Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of your current version of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    but we didn’t do nothing reason why it is really strange

    Sometimes files can become corrupted on a server for no apparent reason. It’s just one of those things that happens.
