    Hi WP Team,

    I just updated my wordpress tov new version including the plugins however i could no longer access my admin page not even able to check my PHP version.

    Below error message is showing on my page . Much appreciate for any assistance to rectify this error. Thank you.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’, expecting ‘&’ or variable (T_VARIABLE) in /home2/ivangav/public_html/infographicspedia.com/wp-content/plugins/kk-star-ratings/src/hook.php on line 26

  • Use FTP or your host control panel File Manager to delete the plugins/kk-star-ratings folder.
    Be sure to report the error to the plugin’s support forum.

    Quick fix, would be to disable the plugin in question kk-star-ratings. If you have access to FTP, you can go to public_html/wp-conntent/plugins/ folder and rename the plugin in question. This will deactivate the plugin.

    Later you can rename it again and resolve the issue.

    Thank you Joy,

    I deleted the plugin “KK Star” from my host file manager and had restored my admin page. Also as advised, I reported the error to plugin owner at thier github homepage.

    @kaushalsheth Yes I did as per first advised by @joyously I just deleted the plugin as it not compatible with my current PHP version. I’m not sure i can get anymore error from any plugins if I updated my WP to 5.4.1 version.
