I undertand that this can be fixed somehow. Can you help please? Thanks in advance. No idea what went wrong. ??

    Did someone edit that file?

Get a fresh copy of that theme, extract lib/widgets.php, and upload it via FTP replacing the one on your server.

It may be that your server has been hacked and the hack broke that file. So you might do better to delete wp-content/themes/DW theme via FTP and reinstall the theme afresh, then install the WordFence plugin and scan your site.

for chek your core problem, you can switch your themes with wp default themes, like twenty ten.
if you still have an error, i think this is not your themes problem.
next, you can inactive all your plugins. see, just like before, if you still have an error, this is not your plugins problam.
or you can change both of my sollution in one time.

my last sollution. if you already change to default themes and inactiving all of plugins. then you should reinstall your wordpress.

You do not need to login Use FTP or your hosting control panels file manager app.
