• The Parse error below is what I get when I try to view my Pages. I deactivated all plug ins, and this still came up. Word Press and Theme are all updated. I did try to remove the top banner on the theme so the pages link didn’t appear in the header only the footer. Then switched it back again, maybe I missed something going back.
I have not tried to reload the theme again. is that the only answer? or is there some code I can type in. or do I need to contact the creator?

  • Yep, likely you messed up the code. Try downloading a new copy of the theme to your computer and replacing just that file on the server here:

    wp-content
        themes
           material
             page.php

You’ll need to use FTP or Cpanel to do this.

    Thanks for your reply.
I downloaded the theme. got Filezilla and typed in the Hostname Username Password Port and no connection. I got that info from the Go Daddy Settings tab called SFTP.
So I copied and pasted the code from the page.php that I downloaded to my computer and pasted that code to the page.php in my WP dashboard.
Only one of the two pages are showing up on the web site. Do you know why that could be
(the Parse Error page went away)

If FTP isn’t working, ask GoDaddy.

If the site is messed up, you may need to reinstall the whole theme – if you rename the theme folder via FTP you can reinstall it from the Dashboard.
