Parse error: syntax error!

    When I try to update the plugin to version 2.0.9.8 or 2.0.10.2 I recive this error when I reload the site page:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/username/public_html/site address/wp-content/plugins/a2-optimized-wp/A2_Optimized_OptionsManager.php on line 247
