    Please help! My site is down and I have the following error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in D:\Hosting\10006117\html\wp-content\themes\unite\functions.php on line 224

  • I had a similar error. Mine was with the wp-includes/comment.php on line 349

    This error occurred when I attempted to run update.php

    Thank goodness for backups! I was able to reload my backup and everything still worked!!

    Apparently I am not good with troubleshooting. My error went from bad to worse – apparently “fatal”. Here’s the latest error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function of_get_option() in D:\Hosting\10006117\html\wp-content\themes\unite\header.php on line 21

    Any suggestions on fixing the issue would be great!

    Got it fixed. Renamed the theme from the host allowing WP to switch back to default theme. Accessed my site, deleted the faulty theme and then re-installed it. Good as new.
