    Hi,

I just re-uploaded all of the files to my server and went to my blog and noticed I’m receiving an error now. All files were the same I downloaded a couple days ago so nothing was changed.

You can see the error here – https://www.extremetanandsmoothies.com/blog/

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/domains/extremetanandsmoothies/blog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1209

Any clue on what error this is and how I can fix it ASAP???

    Thanks for any help!

That’s a nonce failure, caused by a failure in the referrer. It’s a security check, basically.

Did you recently install any “privacy” software on your computer? Anything that would block referrer information from being sent? If so, then that’s your problem. WordPress expects your browser to send valid information. Privacy software like that messes with what your browser does in a misguided attempt to not leak information. WordPress sees that, assumes somebody’s trying to hack it, and blocks you out.

Either that, or your uploaded files are broken in some way. Double and triple check that all the files got uploaded correctly.

I had totally forgotten I used a find & replace function to add a code to every page and didn’t notice it had overwritten the whole /blog directory. Uploaded the backup and it’s fine now.

    Thanks!
