    hi there,
i have just installed your latest plugin 1.5.7 and i have installed wordpress to 4.1 I am also running php5

When i try to connect to twitter from the plugin settings i get navigated to a blank page showing this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘>’ in /home/kebo/home/api-twitter/public_html/Opauth/Opauth.php on line 304

I have read through the forum and googled the error but don’t see a fix so hopefully you can tell me how to fix this urgently.

    Best
    Dan

Don’t think it is a 4.1 issue as i had the same error before upgraded, i thought the upgrade would fix it but still get the same error.

    Hi danes73,

This issue has now been resolved, I am sincerely sorry for the length of time it lasted.

    Hi corrieweijers,

Have you updated to the latest version of the plugin (1.5.8)? That looks like it has not updated and is still calling the old server (which is still ungracefully failing, ill fix that now).

The latest update changes the URL used, to point to the new service.

    Hi corrieweijers,

I have just added a slightly more useful error message to the old service, prompting visitors to update their plugins. Please let me know what happens when you do.

I’ve updated the latest version now and it works perfect! Thanks a lot!
