    Hi,

    I just downloaded the updated theme and was told to download this plugin. When I went to go activate my plugin, it gave me the below error:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in E:\inetpub\fcpsblogs\wp\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\reiki-companion\reiki-companion.php on line 88

    Any ideas on what may be going on?

    Can you give more details about the server configuration you are using? I think you have this issue because your php version is less than 5.3.

    @yupal,

    You may be right. I’m running 5.2. Do you know of any online tutorials that help update php in IIS? I have tried to update but I just can’t seem to get it right.

    Try this tutorial:

    Configure a PHP Website on IIS

    Install the “Microsoft Web Platform Installer” and inside choose to add PHP 5.6.
