Parse Error – Can't Log in to WordPress to Fix

Edit file via FTP.

Tried going through GoDaddy to get in the back door but had no luck. Where do I find the FTP, excuse my ignorance!

1- login to godaddy
2- My account
3- web hosting
4- Launch the hosting associated with that domain
5- click on FTP file manager located at the top and below the name “Hosting Dashboard”.
6- open the wp-content directory
7- open the plugins directory
8- Select the plugin you have installed
9- click on “rename it” and give it a new name or just delete it.
10- now you should be able to login

Thanks for the detail. I did not use a plugin but copied and pasted the code into the custom-header section on line 3. So I’m with you up to step number 8.

7- open the themes directory
8- open the theme you’re using.
9- select the header.php (if that is the one you added the code).
10- Click on edit.
11 make the change and save it.
