Parse Error and missing info on plug in

  • I have no experience of WP, design, HTML, PHP theses are all terms I heard for the first time a couple of months ago.

    I have managed to construct most of my website but am struggling with a few things.

    1) Business Directory for wordpress (Square Compass) successfully installed, the business name description are displaying but none of the contact information is, I do not know how to rectify this.

    I have also tried to install a couple of other plugins and continually recive this message. I have no idea what this means or where to begin to try and rectify it.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/sites/hellesdonhandbook.co.uk/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-business-directory-manager/wpbusdirman.php on line 1422

    If any one can help I would be very grateful.
