I have this error when trying to logon my site:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/content/43/10854943/html/wp-content/themes/dynamik/custom-functions.php on line 29

    https://www.gospelconcerns.com

I cannot access the file to fix it. What do I do??

Can you upload another version of the dynamik (Small Business ?) theme and overwrite yours?

I FTP’d a good file for custom-functions.php and then get this error:

Warning: require_once(/home/content/43/10854943/html/wp-content/themes/catalyst/lib/catalyse.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/43/10854943/html/wp-content/themes/dynamik/functions.php on line 6

    Which theme are you using?

    Catalyst by Dynamik

I’d be happy to get it back to 2011 or whatever – and reload. But even my backup security program won’t allow me access.

Do you have one of the default WordPress themes in your “themes” folder?

    Thread Starter cbhsoloist

    (@cbhsoloist)

It’s on my hard drive. If I knew how I could reload that entire theme. But I can’t access the backend at all

In your server where your website resides do you have a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twelve in your “themes” folder?

Through FTP rename the folder of your current theme (within the “themes” folder) – Call it anything different to what it is now. Then try accessing your dashboard.

Ok — that worked. Now what? Can I rename them back? I reloaded the Catalyst theme. It works fine now. Just back to bare look

How do I restore a backup? And should I rename those files back?

You can rename it back and then talk to your theme’s vendors for support with their Catalyst product.
