My website has been working fine until yesterday when my hosting provider suddenly completed my account’s move to another west coast server. Instead of loading my website, this error message is displayed.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/wockyn5/public_html/readercritiques.com/wp-content/plugins/google-referrer-checker/google_referrer_checker.php on line 318

Is there a way for me to disable this plugin so that there won’t be problems anymore? I cant access my wp-admin page anymore because the same error message is displayed when i directly go to the dashboard by typing the url.

  • Sign into your hosted account and use the file manager on your control panel there or using ftp change the name of the plugin.

Use your Internet Service Providers > Control Panel > File Manager, or use FTP if you have it, and delete the plugin ‘google-referrer-checker’ from the folder ‘wp-content/plugins/’

Will deleting the plugin without deactivating it be okay?
