I installed WP successfully, and I attempted to implement the necessary elements into my layout (which is still being worked on and is not at swimmachica.org/light). I’m a former b2 user and thought I could change over easily. So far, it has been an easy transition but everytime I load my index.php page, I get the following message:
Parse error: parse error in /home/swimmach/public_html/light/index.php on line 83
I’m not too sure what I did wrong. I am no expert on PHP and could use a little help.

That’s the thing- line 83 is just the </body> tag. I don’t know why that would be causing a problem.

Is there another tag that didn’t get closed that should have? Also, try saving index.php to index.backup and uploading a fresh copy of index.php to confirm that index.php is really the culprit.
