Parents and Child are not show correctly

    Hi,

    Hi hope that you are Ok.

    I created a POD of custom taxonomy.

    With this POD i have this parent and child option (it is an example)

    Parent 1

    Child 1

    Child 2

    Child 3

    Parent 2

    Parent 3.

    All is perfect in the POD Definition.

    When I go to create the post, Word Press shows me the PODS like this

    Parent 1

    Child 1

    Child 2

    Child 3

    Parent 2

    Parent 3

    And not in a format where i can to see parents and childs.

    How I can to fix this situation?.

    Hi, reading my post I saw that the system is not saving the text that I wrote like a wrote.

    My point is that I have parents and children in the POD and I can see that child as a parent. But when I am in the post the POD shows all the entrances on the same level, there are no differences between parents and children.

    You can see 4 images

    Pod1.png: It shows the Pod “Tipos de documentos” and inside of it an option named: “Publicaciones Tecnicas y Divulgativas”.

    Pod2.png: Shows the Pod Tipos de documentos and inside of it 2 options “Entrada 2” and “Entrada1”

    Pod3.png: Shows that “Entrada 2” and “Entrada1” are defined as childs.

    Pod4.png: Show that “Entrada 2” is a child of “Publicaciones Tecnicas y Divulgativas”.

    My question is: If “Entrada 2” is a child of “Publicaciones Tecnicas y Divulgativas” why it does not appear like a child on Pod2.png?.

    What i need to do to generate that “Entrada 2” and “Entrada1” appear like childs of “Publicaciones Tecnicas y Divulgativas” when I am creating a post.

    Hi @oscarmadrovar

    Ah check, unfortunately we have no influence on this part. Even though you’ve created the taxonomies and post types through Pods the actual behavior and UI is WordPress core.

    In this case the taxonomy box apparently doesn’t show the parent/child UI, probably because you have many items. You could always ask help on the general forums or stack overflow but this is out of scope for Pods support.
