Parent / sub-categories issue.

If I understand you correctly, you’re asking about why the posts to the subcategory have to be in the category as well? Is that it? Sorry if I’ve misunderstood.

However, if that’s what you’re asking, that’s just the hierarchy of it. If you don’t want posts to that subcategory to be shown as a part of the parent category, you’ll need to make the subcategory a parent one, separating it from the original parent.
