    Hi,
I found in my database some parent product that has product number under column post_parent.
I know that post_parent of variation need to be the parent id, I don’t understand how parent product got post_parent different from 0

Do you have any option to check why it happened?

@thinkp A parent product shouldn’t have a parent of anything other than 0. This may have been caused by an import of some sort, or it may have been another plugin that made this change. If you’re using something like WPML that creates multiple copies of posts, it may be related to that.

You may be able to correct the issue by exporting all variable products, then updating the parent to 0 for the ones that are incorrect.

@thinkp We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
