Parent Pages & Custom Menus

    Hi,

    My parent pages are not displaying properly on my site anymore (it was up until a few days ago). I tried creating a custom menu, which I no longer use because it is no longer allowing me to add any more pages to it. I’ve since then deleted the custom menu b/c it was taking way to long to load and such.

    Since then, it caused my parent-page tabs to be smashed together; some have that brown color & some don’t. I had my about page & contact us page as a child page under my home page – which i can’t seem to do any more. I created a new “Homepage”, but when I publish it, my website shows 2 homepages. Any assistance with this is greatly appreciated.

    Is there a limit on the amount of pages that can be manually added in custom menu?

    There is no limit of the custom menu.

    Please check the following things.

    Click WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menus
    Please select the menu which you created.
    Please check whether menu structure is set up correctly.
    Menu Settings Theme locations:Please check the “Global Navigation” check box.

    Sorry, I thought that I had already replied.

    I did all of what you stated, and it still doesn’t allow me to manually add any more pages…

    as for the other error that I’m receiving, do you have any recommendations on that?

    What menu happens, if you clear the check box of “Global Navigation”?

    Parent page is Pages (not Posts)?

    I don’t have a Posting issue, I have a custom menu issue. When I clear the check box of “Global Navigation”, it show duplicate Home pages on my site -which I’ve managed to delete. PLUS, it’s not allowing me to move my “about us” page & Contact us Page under my “homepage”. Basically, it’s bunching All of my pages together…

    ALSO – What happening is a few things…

    1. customer menu is not allowing me to add any more pages to it! It is NOT saving the additional pages I’m the already created menu (I have well over 100 pages)

    2. the purpose of me trying to add a custom menu for my parent&child pages is because it looks more uniform…

    Sorry, there was a limit to the number of the menu.

    Can you change the settings of php.ini?
