Parent gallery without displaying all images

I am attempting to create a simple menu with 3 galleries. Each gallery will have 10 images and buttons on top to toggle between them. But when I create a parent gallery (10 images), it automatically puts all 30 the images from the three linked galleries on first load. When I click on the menu buttons, it will show 10 images and toggles through as planned.

Is there any way to prevent all the images from showing up on all linked galleries during first load?
