Parent Child Category relationship

    I am not advanced user. I am seeking help/advice. Situation is I have these categories:

    Vehicle -> Cars
    Vehicle -> Cars

    Australia -> NSW -> Sydney

    I am basically wanting to set up the custom fields / categories so that I can search using Ultimate WP Query Search Filter plugin.

    I tried to set up the data using taxonomy option and categories option but I would like to achieve is auto populate child categories when selecting parent category. Please suggest any example I could follow.
