    Is there any way of wordpress adding parent and child classes for

    • generated by wp_list_pages ? I don’t know how such great thing like wordpress is not handling parent classes in menu !

  • It is! Try looking in your page source for items like “current_page_ancestor” and remember that it is possible to style a nested list without having to rely on specific classes.

    ok, the whole problem is that you have to be on the child page to current_page_ancestor appear … it’s not very comfortable for someone trying to style the menu his own way

    So what’s wrong with styling on the nested lists?

    it’s very troublesome if you’re converting some templates and not create a brand new ones (with ready css) and it gets more messy ??
