    While not identical, the above topic seems pretty close in scope and it could be worth reviewing some of the advice provided there if you haven’t already done so.

    Our 1.4.5 release fixed some user interface issues but did not alter the way the plugin “speaks” to Pardot and so my suspicion is that the issue lies in the configuration of your hosting environment … particularly if as you noted you have already whitelisted your IP address.

    The Pardot plugin itself doesn’t do anything out of the ordinary here and communicates via WordPress’s HTTP API, as do many other plugins. With that in mind, given what you have already tried the next logical step would be talking to your web host to make sure nothing is blocked on their end.

    If you are still unable to get to the bottom of things, visiting the Help & Training portal to get assistance from the Pardot team could certainly be worth a shot.
