Parallax scrolling doesn't work

I tried creating a parallax scrolling animation in edge like shown on the tutorial by Edge Docks
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywbgHqc3C0MIt works fine in the browser but when I add it on wordpress, the animation doesn’t go according to the scrollbar. It just plays once (not according to the scroll) and it stops. Please help.
