• Hi,

I am running ELementor Pro with Generate Press. I added a background image to the homepage through elementor and was wondering if it was possible to apply the parallax effect for that image through GeneragePress. Currrently there is not a way, aside from adding css, in elementor to apply the parallax affect to images – say for example through a ‘parallax widget’ or something.

I did notice in one of the GP video tutorials (‘sections’ or ‘backgrounds’ – i cant remember exactly) that there is a button to give the parallax effect to images added through GP.

But i dont see that its possible to access the image through the ‘customize’ editor in GP. I can only access the image through the elementor page editor.

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

    Hi there,

Those parallax functions are specific to GeneratePress I’m afraid. The parallax for the Elementor background would have to be a custom solution/come from Elementor themselves.

Hello Tom, its not a problem with your theme, but i’m developer who is really interested in vanilla js solutions. Lately i started using more advanced WP features as API’s, i fill still like beginner, even if i learned a lot…
Can i ask you this: are you familiar with any good resources other than standard wp codex, where can i fing pure vanilla js functions for wp? like vanilla js for ajax, or customizer api, and not only for frontend, but also backend admin tasks, sorry for my poor english
