Parallax image cut off on top

    (I recently downloaded Latte, so I’m not sure why an old version number is displaying.)

    I think (hopefully!) this is my last question.

    My parallax image is getting cut off on top. I’ve cropped it differently to try to get it to “move down” and not cut off my head, but that didn’t help. Is there an exact dimension I should use before uploading the photo? Is there another way to select the portion of the photo that should be used?

    Hi Carol,

    Full size background images are always really tricky. So I will recommend you to try few images to see which one works best. The theme uses best code to ensure it looks responsive but all sites are of different sizes so it’s really really difficult.

    Let me know if you find a perfect size, also try to use an image in which your main subject is in the middle. ??

    I didn’t find a good answer to this one. I changed the graphic and that helped some, but it would be better if I could control what part of the graphic is in the background when the site first loads. It makes sense that the parallax and the responsiveness make that difficult.

    Believe me, I’ve tried everything I could to make it work but it’s just one of those buggy things which you can’t do much about, unfortunately. ??
