Hi, I have a client who wants me to build a static website, with traditional WordPress navigation to static pages. But first iteration will be a parallax scrolling page, designed with several sections. Following launch of that site, we want to build pages within the site, and have those navigational buttons drive users to static pages where more in-depth content will reside.

I’ve searche for DAYS, and can’t find any tutorial. Any reference to Parallax seems to always be accompanied by “single-page” site. I want to build a hybrid.

    Help much appreciated.

  • I don’t know of a reason that you will not be able to do that. You can use a custom template for the front page and allow the others to use the default or even a different custom one.

This use of templates should be little different than having a slideshow only on the front page.
