  • As far as I know, the Parallax effect does not work at all on mobile phones, that is because the subject (image) is set to be a background picture; Then it is not responsive as pictures are that are laying on a background. I think that is why in Elementor the option exist to not show it at all on mobile phones or tablets. There is a plugin which has the option to instead assign a ‘not-background’ picture for mobiles, but unfortunately that plugin is outdated. It would be a good option for Elementor.
But in case there would be a way, I would be happy too. ??

    ui, really.
I thought I’ve seen one before, but indeed after some research I can’t find one. either.

You could use the Parallax Scroll plugin. Instead of the way of that video you mentioned, the Parallax effect is obtained by putting a shortcode on a page. The result is the same, but in the settings, you can let the used picture scaled down for mobile, so that at least that picture itself is shown at mobile phones. It is not what I want, but it helps a bit.
The plugin was updated 11 months ago, but this morning I got an email from the maker of it, saying:
“The plugin should continue to work with new WordPress versions, unless WordPress were to fundamentally change how it works.”
