Paragraphs (wpautop) is not working with WP 3.3.1 qTranslate 2.5.28

After upgrading to WordPress 3.3.1 and qTranslate versionn 2.5.28 there is a problem.

The wpautop function in wordpress has broken and after formating the content and saving the post, it returns with out any paragraph formating.

I noticed there were some posts online somwhere that indicated a fix that could be carried out but it looked rather complicated. Does anybody know when the next version of qTranslate will be published?
