Hi, I am currently testing your plugin, and I have two issues with it: the first one is that each hidden field is embedded into paragraph tags: you can imagine the gap between the field and the submit button. Check it out here: https://clone.perspective.marketing/ (login: stef ; pass: stef1512), on the second widget on the right side (named “pause café test 2”).

    Hi Stefan,

There are <p> tags wrapping the hidden input fields and within these tags are <br> tags. The line breaks (<br> tags) are the ones doing the most damage. Unfortunately neither of these are coming from our plugin. We’ve seen similar issues in the past with page builder plugins; are you using a page builder plugin?

When adding the widget, do you have an option to add the “raw” widget? (That is, do you have any way of circumventing the page builder plugin?)

If you know which theme/plugin the conflict is coming from, maybe you can try contacting them? It seems silly to wrap input fields with type="hidden" in <p> and <br> tags as these input fields are hidden by definition.

Let me know if you have any more info and we can try to work out a solution.

    All the best,
    Kevin.

    Hi,

I tried something else using css, it works as well: I reduced the line-height and margin of <p> tags inside the form (using its class or id), and then swoosh! I guess that’s a kind of workaround.
