When selecting a ‘Paragraph Text’ field type, in a Custom Field GF field, the data is not passed to the custom post type.
I have deleted, recreated, double/triple checked field names, recreated the form from scratch, and nothing makes a difference. I have spent many hours trying to find the issue. I looked in postmeta, and the paragraph text fields are all empty.
There are several other custom fields on the form, using field types drop down, file upload, single line text – and they all work (all data is in postmeta for these).
I am using WP 3.1.3 and version 2.0 of the Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types plugin.

This is very aggravating, as this plugin is great except for this.
Hoping the plugin author sees this…
    Thanks

    Bruce,

If you are using Content Template in Gravity Forms that only insert the content from that item, then that is what is causing your problems. So if you insert a custom field of a paragraph and call it “Entry Text”, check create content template, and enter {Entry Text: 8} in the content template, then it will render nothing in that input form. So for items that you are not using content template from other fields, leave create content template unchecked.

    Thanks,

    Thanks Travis!
It IS a problem with Gravity, and not this plugin.

But I do believe that the Content Template is flawed on Gravity Forms (bug), as well as the way that Paragraph Text fields are handled (loses the paragraph formatting when passing it to postmeta).

    Thanks again.
